Are you a fan or veteran of battle/war games? For the most of us the answer is probably yes and if so I’m sure you probably have Call of Duty 4, one of the most popular recent war games released within your collection. If you are a Call of Duty veteran then you also probably feel an “emotional high” when you take the enemy out or beat the game, but again who don’t that’s the point.    As a gamer we all would like to do whatever we can to make our gameplay the most fun possible and get or do whatever we can to have the ultimate gaming experience and that’s why I’m here to tell you about the Call of Duty 4 (COD4) Fast Reload Trigger and Rapid Fire Controller from Evil Controllers.

That’s right a controller developed by Evil Controllers that can change your total Call of Duty 4 playing experience, of course at a cost.   The controller is simply a modified Xbox controller made specifically for Call of Duty 4 gameplay that can provide faster reload and more fire power. We definitely all know that when it comes to games like Call of Duty 4 that seconds count when it comes to life and death in battle so by having the ability of faster reload and rapid fire hopefully you will come out on top and defeat the enemy. After using this controller we found that having these two options available made the already awesome Call of Duty 4 experience even more exhilarating.

As I mentioned earlier the controller is just a regular Xbox controller slightly modified with the addition of two very small added buttons. Both buttons are located on the underside of the controller within comfortable reach. The left button is located on the lower left portion and the right located on the right upper portion and placed specifically for comfort /control during play. The left button is simply the fast reload button and it does exactly that. I mean click the button, and it’s done! The rapid button on the right also has an assisted LED light function (#4 green LED light located on the front of each controller) that shows you when the rapid fire has been selected. The placement of the rapid fire button was selected also to prevent accidental firing and I have to say was well chosen. For one example of how well the rapid fire option works lets’ just say that it turn the G3 weapon, which is a single shot into pretty much a fully automatic weapon. I thought it was crazy awesome and definitely held up to its name rapid fire. One shortcoming is that the controller doesn’t work with every single weapon in Call of Duty 4 due to some weapons having different reload times but the following is a list of weapons in which if does work for: G3, M-16, AK-47, M-4, M-21, Mini AK-47, G-36C, M-14, and the Draganov.
