Piranha’s Gaming Communictor Review
Posted by jewishmonkey5, 109 days ago

As everyone knows, computer headphones aren’t the easiest  things to shop for.  There  are many brands and a huge verity of cost and you can never be sure if your purchases is ever worth the price.  I personally used many brands of headphones and found that the basic idea is usually true, the more you spend the better it is.  This is true with razers newest gamming communicator the Piranha.

The first thing yell notice when you first open your piranha is that it is black and looks like any other headphone ,but when plugged in the sides glows blue which makes it quite cool looking.  It operates a lot like your average headphone and mike, with volume and mike switch.  It however plugs in through your USB and  audio ports ,unlike most brands. It also acquires a braided fiber cable which makes it stronger and more difficult to tangle.

The piranhas mike is adjustable and made of elastic plastic for flexibility.  Its input quality is very precise and it has a built in noise filter, so now your  welcome to watch teletubbies on your TV and shove a chainsaw into someone’s face on doom without your team even knowing.  Who hasn’t had that problem before. All kidding aside the piranha has the best noise detection I have ever used.  The ear cups are angled to fit the wearer more comfortable which does come in handy for very long use and it fits almost anyone.

The only downfall I can see for the piranhas is the sound.  It occasionally can’t take very high volume and it fuzzes up a lot. If your only using media or music for your computer this might not be for you.  Don’t get me wrong, the sound is good just not great and any kind of hardcore computer gamers wants great.  But if your in multiplayer games and you need to talk but not hear the game that loud this is perfect.

The whole idea behind the piranha is that its for gaming and it is a affordable price which it succeed in doing.  It  will set you back around 80 dollars ,which is above average and for people who want the best of the best sound the piranhas may not be for them but if your looking for good sound and a great mike the piranhas is a very wise choice.
