THE IDEAL WAY TO BECOME A GAMES DEVELOPER: DISTANCE LEARNING
The gaming industry is moving at a phenomenal pace, with new innovation and technology advances occurring all the time.

The gaming industry is moving at a phenomenal pace, with new innovation and technology advances occurring all the time. In such a fast paced environment education and training is more important than ever. An up to date game course is able to provide the most comprehensive education by looking to the future and providing students with the most current information and learning materials available.

This is often only possible by choosing one of the few game courses that are aware of the ever-changing nature of the sector. A good game course will differ from more traditional subjects taught at university or college. Courses taught at university or college generally follow a rigid syllabus that does not change during an academic year, with most remaining the same year after year with little change. This just isn’t good enough when educating people in computer games design and development, and this is why many people choose to study game design courses using a more modern and suitable method for a subject so dependent on technology; learning via the Internet.

Studying a game course through the Internet and home learning means an interactive learning experience completely different to the more conventional, lectures and textbooks, mode of study. Anyone on a distance learning game course will have direct access to the latest information alongside videos and audio learning, and of course through playing computer games will gain a greater insight into the game making process.

The vast majority of people wanting to become computer games developers will do so simply because they enjoy playing computer games. Game courses with universities frequently neglect the fact that playing and creating computer games should ultimately be an enjoyable experience, often taking the fun out of the process.

This is not the case with interactive home learning, as it enables you to learn at your own pace and stay engaged throughout the course. Train 2 Game courses will give you a thorough knowledge of every aspect of design from planning to publishing.

It is therefore important to choose a game course recognised by others in the field and preferably affiliated with innovative and successful game developers and agencies.

Any such developer will recognise and understand the value of a game course studied in your own time, so there is no reason not to begin a course now and start making computer games.
