Whether you’re a very cautious or protective gamer with your console and its accessories or just a neat freak that has to keep everything in its place, then the Armory is just what you need. The Armory is the new game controller storage device that’s long been awaited. Many devices, as we all know have already been produced and sold to provide either mounting or storage for our consoles. Some devices were created for stationary display and protection of the consoles and others for storage and protection during travel, but what about the controllers? Controllers can be costly if broken by yourself or other household members even the family dog, so why not protect them with the Armory along with your console. With the Armory each storage hanger can store safely up to four of your controllers easily. The Armory is designed for storage of wireless or corded controllers with the ease of not having to disconnect them from the console (if Armory is mounted within wired distance of the console.) The Armory is designed for storage of standard controllers for the Xbox, Xbox 360, playstation 2, and Game cube. Some may ask "what if my controllers or some of my controllers are non-standard, will they still fit?" The Armory and its unique design does provide storage for some non-standard controllers in which they will fit just as well but unfortunately others will not fit correctly in relation to size and shape. For example we here at Joystick Radio found some old off-market brand controllers for playstation and Nintendo and decided to see how they would fit. We found that several fit perfectly and others fit but not as snugly but still could be used with the hanger. Alot of non-standard controllers are made almost identical to standard with only slight variations and some variations only being in color or durability do to copyrights so consider this before thinking you can’t use it. Also if you believe in versatility and depending on how many controllers you need placement for you can even hang your headset or Wii controller (by using the wrist strap) safely on the bottom rack. We here at Joystick Radio also found that if you remove the right peg on the number 2 spot on the back plate this also provides an excellent storage space for your guitar from guitar hero or Rock band to hang from safely. This is done by placing the top part of the guitar (where you normally tighten the strings) within the space which fits perfectly. The Armory was made specifically for controller storage (as it states on the package) but still can provide versatile, safe storage for these accessories also, no sense in wasting storage space. Corded controllers should also be placed in an order on the rack to help prevent tangling of the cords (if corded), and this would be most frequently used controllers on the bottom so that removal prevents cords from becoming tangled. Mounting and assembly of the Armory is also very easy with easy to follow instructions and hardware included. The Armory can be easily mounted on your wall, inside or on your entertainment center or inside a closet, whichever you choose. The actual assembly of the Armory means no more than snapping the 8 controller holding pieces into the back plate and your done except for the mounting which also only requires placing 2 screws and 2 drywall anchors (if needed) wherever you decide to place the Armory, it’s that easy! The Armory comes with a limited one year warranty and is licensed and trademarked to ArmoryTech Inc. The Armory is made of a very strong, durable plastic, made in China, and would be a great little gift for the gamer alone or maybe to help out whoever in the household is continually having to pick them up.
