Earlier this month, Bungie and Microsoft anounced that a new Halo 3 map pack will be released onto the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The map pack will be available for purchase on April 15th. The map pack by the name of Legendary, will include 3 new maps and sell for 800 Microsoft Points (10 Dollars). Two of the three maps have been revealed but the other one is still a mystery.

    The first map is called Ghost Town. Bungie describes Ghost Town as mae filled with narrow passages and high cat walks filled with death trap opprotunities and plenty of cover. The map is the run down after math, of the once prosperus city of Voi. Bungie says this claustrophobic, mid-sized map is good for Team Slayer, and small objective types of games.

    The next map is called Avalanche. Avalanche is a "Sidewinder" tribute from the original, Halo: Combat Evolved. This fan-favorite remake, is a giant vehicle based map that adds more to the original. The new map looks better looking inside and outside. This is the only image released by Bungie. The first look at Avalanche, looks good.

    The final map is unknown to all but Bungie. The only information known about this map is it will be loved by people who love small slayer maps. Bungie says new Forge options will be released as well as creating and sharing your own Halo 3 content.
